On Tuesday, the “SDF” arrested 13 a teacher from the city of “Al-Shaddadi” in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, in order to take them to the “compulsory recruitment” in its ranks.

These arrests come in the context of the continuing practices of the “SDF” arbitrary against the employees of educational staff in the various areas under its control, amid large protests against them as a result of the decision to fight in its ranks.

Sources of the Syrian Documentation Center reported that the 13 teachers were taken from their homes in the city of Al-Shaddadi to the training camps in its countryside, after the SDF’s militants carried out raids on several neighborhoods in the city.

The sources indicated that the “SDF” launches these arrests campaigns without any concern for the damage to the educational sector as a result of this order, or any response to the demands of parents and the daily protests that come out against the decision to include teachers for “compulsory conscription”.

As a result of the continuation of these abusive practices by the “SDF”, several areas in the countryside of Deir Al-Zour have recently witnessed a strike by teachers, such as the villages and towns of “Al-Susah”, “Granij”, “Hajin” and “Al-Shaitat”, where their teachers announced that they stopped working, demanding the annulment of the decision of taking them to the “forced conscription”, and the release of their fellow detainees.
