A leader of the militants was killed by the Syrian army “targetings” in Idlib countryside
A military commander from the Turkish-backed “National Liberation Front” faction was killed, due to the Syrian army’s targeting of the militants’ movements on “Jabal al-Zawiya” axis in Idlib southern countryside.
SDC sources stated that the army units had observed gatherings of militants around the town of “Al-Bara”, near the Turkish military base located in the area, preparing to carry out attacks on the areas of the Syrian state.
The sources indicated that the Syrian army’s missiles targeted the gathering of militants, killing one of the leaders of the “National Liberation Front” called “Mohammed al-Qadi”, in addition to wounding /3/ other gunmen.
The fighting fronts in the countryside of Idlib, Hama and Lattakia are witnessing a continuous military build-up by the Turkish forces and their militias, in a dangerous military escalation that warns of Turkish intentions to carry out new attacks on Syrian territory.
Lately, there was a significant increase in the number of the armed factions’ violations of the ceasefire agreement in the “de-escalation” zone, exceeding 100 targets carried out this month by “Al-Nusra Front” terrorists towards the villages and towns of Idlib and Hama countryside.
