Buses arrive on the outskirts of Daraa Al-Balad after an agreement under the auspices of Russia.
Sources of the Syrian Documentation Center reported that the Syrian state, within the framework of its willingness to implement the “Daraa al-Balad” agreement, sent a number of buses in preparation for the expulsion of the militants towards northern Syria.
The sources pointed out that the security committees were assigned to settle the situation of the militants wishing to stay in Daraa according to the agreement, and to expel those who refused the settlement towards the areas controlled by Al-Nusra in the north.
The sources added that it was decided to equip a headquarters to monitor violations of the ceasefire, provided that the Russian patrols would be conducted in the vicinity of “Daraa al-Balad” to monitor the field situation and implement the terms of the agreement in “Daraa Al-Balad”, “Al-Sad Road” neighborhood and “Daraa camp”.
The agreement also stipulated that the Syrian army would deploy its security points in “Daraa al-Balad” and search all homes for weapons, to end the security chaos in the area.
It’s noteworthy that the Syrian state has suspended its military operations since last Thursday, to prevent bloodshed and in the hope of reaching a peaceful solution, provided that the file of “Daraa al-Balad” is completely ended, and it’s emptied of militants to restore stability to it after its residents suffered from chaos for 3 years, since the signing of the settlement agreement in 2018.
