The Russian Reconciliation Center of the Warring Parties in Syria has monitored new violations by “Al-Nusra” and its allied factions, within the “de-escalation” area in the north of the country.

The deputy head of the Reconciliation Center in Syria Major General Vadim Kolette said that the militants of “Al-Nusra” carried out 29 attacks during the past 24 hours in the “de-escalation” area, in light of their repeated violations of the truce.

Kolette clarified that Al-Nusra’s attacks were divided into 13 bombing operations in Idlib, 7 attacks in Lattakia, 3 attacks in Hama, and 6 attacks in Aleppo.

The armed factions led by Al-Nusra continues to violate the ceasefire agreement reached by Russia and Turkey since March 2020, as the Turkish side failed to control the militants loyal to it, and stop their continuous violations of the truce, while the Syrian army is working to respond towards the sources of fire and target suspicious movements of militants, which aim to attack army points and populated areas.

The Syrian and Russian governments have repeatedly warned of the attempts of Al-Nusra, in cooperation with the “White Helmets”, to launch provocative attacks including chemical attacks, to accuse the Syrian army of committing them, as it did previously in other regions.

It’s noteworthy that the militants’ violations and bombings of residential areas, whether in the countryside of Hama or Aleppo during the past months have caused dozens of civilian casualties and injuries in light of international silence about these practices.
