The Syrian-Russian Air Force attacks the positions of the militants southern Idlib

The joint Syrian-Russian warplanes carried out, during the hours of the day, focused attacks on the positions of the Turkish-backed armed factions, in “Jabal Al-Zawiya” area, south of Idlib, which led to a large number of deaths and injuries among their ranks.

SDC sources stated that the Syrian-Russian air force focused its targeting towards the locations and movements of the militants in the vicinity of the town of “Kansafra”, south of Idlib, through /8/ raids, which led to the killing and wounding of more than /15/ militants, in addition to the destruction of several military vehicles.

The sources pointed out that the air raids came in response to the repeated attacks and violations committed by Ankara’s factions within the areas of the “de-escalation” agreement signed between Russia and Turkey, and that the targets came after monitoring massive movements and huge crowds of militants within the targeted sites.

The Syrian army is facing the continuous attacks and violations of the Turkish forces and their affiliated factions by targeting the sources of rocket and artillery shelling, which have claimed the lives of many civilians during the past two months, while Russia warns of the danger of the militants’ repeated violations of the “de-escalation” agreement, especially with Turkey’s failure to control its factions.

In view of the continued attacks by the militants and their violations of the “de-escalation” agreement northwestern Syria, expectations are increasing that the fighting fronts will erupt in Idlib countryside, especially since Russia recently stated that the situation in the “de-escalation” area will not remain as it is, and that it does not accept Turkey’s continued failure to control its factions in the region.
