SDF repels the attack of the Ankara factions towards the “M4” road.

The “SDF” announced that it had repelled an attack carried out by the Turkish factions this morning, towards the “M4” international “Al-Hasakah – Aleppo” road.

The “SDF” stated that it had thwarted an attack by the Ankara factions that targeted the international road at the village of “Al-Dibs” northwest of the city of “Ain Issa” in the countryside of Raqqa, saying that its militants were able to confront the attack, killing dozens of attackers, and damaging several military vehicles belonging to them.

The attack by the factions loyal to Turkey on the village of “Al-Debs” came after a group of them carried out, during the early hours of today, an infiltration operation towards the village and perpetrated a crime against 5 civilians, before the “SDF” militants discovered the attempt.

Sources of the Syrian Documentation Center reported that the Ankara militants who carried out the infiltration committed a crime against a family, as they executed a young man, stabbed his father and 3 of his relatives, and stole a number of livestock, before they were discovered by the SDF militants.

After thwarting their attack, the armed factions of Ankara, with the support of the Turkish forces initiated intensive bombing towards the villages of “Fatsa” and “Al-Dibs”, which led to significant material damage to civilian property, without any reports of casualties.

The recent events that were recorded in the countryside of “Ain Issa” fall within the context of the military escalation that has been going on for months in northern Syria, between the “SDF” and the Turkish forces and its affiliated factions amid expectations that the Turkish forces will soon start a new military operation aimed at expanding influence in the area.
