Dozens of wanted men join the settlement agreement in “Sahem al-Golan” in Daraa countryside.
Dozens of wanted civilians from military service joined the new settlement agreement that was launched today in the village of “Sahem al-Golan” in the western countryside of Daraa.
Sources of the Syrian Documentation Center reported that dozens of wanted people gathered since the morning to the settlement center, coming from the villages of “Heit”, “Al-Muzayra’a”, “Gillin” and “Sahem al-Golan” in the Yarmouk Basin area.
The source explained that the Russian military police supervised the settlement operations, in addition to handing over light and medium weapons to the Syrian army, within the framework of implementing the settlement agreement proposed by the Syrian state to restore stability to the area.
The sources indicated that a state of wide popular satisfaction prevailed in the area after the start of the implementation of the settlement agreements, as civilians hope to restore their normal lives, especially after the return of state service institutions and the start of the wheel of stability in the area.
Sources of the Syrian Documentation Center reported that the settlement procedures are easy, as each person can prove his identity through a paper issued by the “mukhtar” who is affiliated with him, or take out a record or flag service book so that his situation can be settled immediately without arresting anyone, with granting deserters from military service a period of 3 months to join the service.
It’s noteworthy that “Sahem al-Golan” had entered into the settlement agreements after “Daraa Al-Balad”, “Al-Yadouda”, “Al-Muzayrib”, “Tafas” and “Tal Shehab”, provided that the settlements include entire Daraa.
