A new rise in fuel prices within the areas controlled by “Al-Nusra”
The “Al-Nusra” raised fuel prices within the areas under its control in Syria, through a new decision issued by the organization’s “Watad” company today, which showed unprecedented large increases in fuel prices compared to the decisions issued during the past 2 months.
The sources reported that “Al-Nusra” raised the price of a liter of imported gasoline from 9.83 Turkish liras to 11.32 Turkish liras, while raising the price of a liter of imported diesel, first type to 10.54 Turkish liras, after it was 9.14 Turkish liras.
The sources indicated that the price of a liter of diesel a 2nd type, based on the decision of “Al-Nusra”, became 8 Turkish lira after it was 6.96, while the price of refined diesel was set at 6.64 Turkish Lira after it was 5.77 Turkish Lira
As for the gas cylinder, its price rose within the areas under the control of “Al-Nusra” to reach 157.5 Turkish liras after it was 137 Turkish liras, which reflects the large and unprecedented rises in fuel prices that the organization controls smuggling from Turkey.
Al-Nusra monopolizes, through several affiliated companies, the trade of most of the food and basic materials necessary for living within the areas under its control in Idlib, especially fuel, whose prices are manipulated by Al-Nusra to increase the gains and profits of its leaders.
Fuel prices within the areas under the control of “Al-Nusra” are also linked to the value of the Turkish lira, which is witnessing a continuous collapse against the US dollar.
