American forces carry out a new airdrop operation in the countryside of Deir Al-Zour.

On Tuesday, American helicopters carried out a new airdrop operation in the city of Hajin in the eastern countryside of Deir Al-Zour, during which a person was arrested from his home less than 4 hours after the start of the operation, in which a group of “SDF” participated.

The sources reported that the operation began with the airdrop carried out by helicopters in one of the “Al-Hajin” neighborhoods alone, as the US forces deployed there and closed the entrances and exits of the neighborhood until the arrival of a group of “SDF” militants.

The sources pointed out that the raid carried out by the American forces lasted for about 4 hours, during which several houses were stormed, coinciding with the repeated firing of sound bombs by the American helicopters in the area, ending the operation with the arrest of a person from his house and taking him to an unknown destination.

The reason for the continuation of the airdrop was unknown throughout that time, despite the arrest of only one person during it, and the pretext for arresting the civilian wasn’t clear, but the residents reported that some SDF militants said that the arrested person is a former member of the Ankara factions, and he was working in Turkey before returning to Syrian territory months ago.

The recent airdrop comes a day after the SDF, backed by American helicopters, carried out a massive campaign of raids on the villages of “Jadeed Akidat”, “Dahla” and “Al-Sabha” in the eastern countryside of Deir Al-Zour, during which more than 7 civilians were arbitrarily arrested with no clear charges against them.
