Israeli aggression targets the “Al-Hurriya Forests” in Quneitra
The Israeli occupation forces renewed their attacks on the Syrian territories, targeting the Quneitra governorate south of the state.
An SDC local source said that the occupation forces fired artillery shells at the town of “Al-Hurriya” in the northwestern countryside of Quneitra, hitting the village’s forests, where bombing explosions were heard around.
The source confirmed that the Israeli bombing coincided with a heavy flight of the occupation’s helicopters and reconnaissance aircraft over the area, without mentioning the results thereof.
During the past month, the Israeli occupation forces had targeted the container yard in Lattakia port for the second time in a row, and the Syrian Ministry of Defense said that the bombing resulted in massive explosions in the goods of the port’s containers.
The Director of the Civil Defense in Lattakia, Brigadier General Jalal Daoud, confirmed that the final stage of cooling the burned containers as a result of the Israeli aggression on Lattakia port was implemented a week ago, noting that the cooling operations continued for the eighth day in a row after the fires were extinguished.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation raided and attacked the Syrian territory throughout the years of the crisis, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on the United Nations and the Security Council to stop the Israeli attacks and violations.
