The settlement agreement begins in the “Raqqa”.
This morning, the comprehensive settlement procedures for the people of “Raqqa” began, which were initially launched by the Syrian state through the opening of a reconciliation center in the town of “Al-Sabkha” in the western countryside of Raqqa.
The sources reported that the opening of the reconciliation center in “Al-Sabkha” will be the starting point for the opening of other settlement centers in the villages and towns of “Al-Raqqa” to receive the wanted residents of the province and those who have left the military service in order to settle their status with the Syrian state.
As was the settlement procedures in Deir Al-Zour, the reconciliation agreement in “Raqqa” includes those within the areas under the control of the “SDF” as well, amid expectations that the center that was opened in “Al-Sabkha” will witness a great turnout from those wishing to settle their status.
The settlement procedures began in the of “Raqqa” on the impact of the great success of the reconciliation agreement, which began nearly 2 months ago in “Deir Al-Zour”, where the centers that were opened within the cities and towns of Deir Al-Zour witnessed a great turnout by the locals, including those residing within the areas under the control of the SDF, and about 800 people from Raqqa as well.
The number of wanted persons who settled their status during the reconciliation agreement in Deir Al-Zour exceeded the threshold of 22000, most of whom are from the city of Al-Mayadin, noting that the settlement procedures are still continuing in the governorate through the Al-Shamitieh center that it was inaugurated by the Syrian state a few days ago.
