Thursday morning, violent clashes erupted between the SDF militants and the Turkish-backed “National Army” factions on the axis of the western countryside of the city of “Tal Tamer” northwest of “Hasakah”.

SDC sources stated that the clashes that took place with machine guns were concentrated near the village of “Tal al-Laban”, and resulted in the injury of three “National Army” militants and an SDF’s.

The said clashes come in the context of the continuous military escalation of the Turkish forces and their affiliated factions in northern Syria, as the latest confrontations are recorded only one day after the “National Army” militants carried out an attack towards the SDF’s “Al-Bab Military Council” points in the countryside of Al-Bab city, east of Aleppo.

The Ankara militants’ attack happened yesterday was part of an attempt to advance towards SDF points on the Al-Bugaz and Al-Ajami axes, where violent clashes erupted between the two sides, coinciding with the Turkish artillery and missile shelling towards SDF points inside the village of Al-Bugaz.

Since the beginning of this year, it is noted that the Turkish military escalation has increased on the fighting fronts in northern Syria, beginning with intensive attacks carried out by the Turkish forces towards various villages and towns in the countryside of “Hasakah” and “Raqqah”, to be extended recently to the northern and eastern countryside of “Aleppo”.
