The Syrian state has opened a center to settle the status of wanted persons and those who have failed military service in the city of “Daraa”, allowing those who were unable to settle their situation during the last period to do so.

The sources reported that the National Reconciliation Committee opened the center in the “Nymphs” Palace for one day only, after a request from the city’s notables, and their confirmation of the presence of dozens of people wishing to settle their status with the Syrian state, and circumstances prevented them from joining the reconciliation procedures that took place previously.

The sources indicated that the settlement procedures that were launched this morning, Thursday, include all residents of towns and villages within “Daraa”, adding that the “Honores Palace” center has witnessed a great turnout since this morning, by dozens of citizens wishing to settle their status.

Last August, a comprehensive reconciliation process was launched for the people of Daraa, which continued until the 25th of October, as part of the settlement agreement that was launched at that time by the efforts of the Syrian state and the Russian guarantor.

At the time, the Daraa settlement agreement was crowned with success, after weeks of great security tension in the province, as a result of some militant deliberately violating the agreement, and committing various provocations and attacks on Syrian army points and safe areas in the province.
