Renewed inner conflicts between Turkey’s militants in Northern Aleppo cause kills, casualties, and material damage.
The aspects of in-fighting between the Turkey-backed factions in areas under their control in northern Aleppo countryside renewed through violent clashes that broke out, yesterday evening, between militants of the “Al-Sham legion” in Maydanki village in Afrin countryside, northern Aleppo.
According to the information received, the clashes broke out after a group of militants of the “Al-Sham legion” objected to the number of meals they received for iftar in comparison to the ones another group of militants received, so shouting matches between the militants of the two groups started and exacerbated into clashes with heavy and medium weapons in the populated Maydanki village.
The two warring parties exchanged mortar shells in the village, resulting in wounding several civilians and causing large material damage to the residents’ houses; therefore, the groups of the so-called “Conflict settlement forces” that belong to the Turkey-trained faction “Military Police” hastened to dispatch huge military reinforcements to the village and managed to end the conflict during last night hours.
The clashes resulted in the killing of a militant and 10 others were severely injured in addition to destroying several military vehicles and DShK machine guns for the two groups, according to the source.
The aspects of inner conflicts continue to dominate the general scene in the areas under the Turkish leverage in northern Aleppo countryside, where these conflicts renew every now and then for reasons, most of them, are discordance about the shares of the looting and royalties taken from the people living in the areas under their control.
The city of “Al-Bab” had witnessed, about a week ago, violent fighting between Turkey-backed factions due to disagreement about the profits of a smuggling border crossing that resulted in killing and wounding over 15 militants in both warring parties
