Freeing of two Syrian army soldiers and recovering a corpse of another soldier that was being held by armed groups in Aleppo countryside

The Syrian army liberated two of its soldiers, and recovered the body of a third soldier, who was being held by the armed groups in their prisons, after an exchange operation, which took place at the "Deir Qaq" crossing located on the outskirts of Al-Bab area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

The exchange was conducted under the supervision of the Syrian army, and in cooperation
with the Syrian Red Crescent, which carried out the operation at the Deir Qaq crossing, which
separates the areas of control of the Syrian army and areas of control of armed groups in the Al-Bab.

The released prisoners arrived at the safe corridor in a good condition, while the Health Units
conducted the necessary medical examinations for them, before they were then transferred to
the city of Aleppo.

Syrian sources confirmed to the “Syrian Documentation Center” that the operation is one of the
steps aimed at liberating all the prisoners and kidnapped individuals from the armed groups,
and that the Syrian state, under the direct guidance of President Bashar al-Assad, is continuing
to work to return the kidnapped and captives and their families.

The Syrian state had been able to liberate a large number of prisoners and kidnapped people
during the past period, through exchanges like this one with the armed groups and in coordination
with the reconciliation committees and the Syrian Red Crescent
