Trump his hiding news in the White House bunker stating , “I did not escape, I just went to check the bunker”
Tens of thousands demonstrated at the streets of American cities for the eighth day in succession. The demonstrations are escalating expressing rage on the murder of the African-American George Floyd by the police.
The news around moving Trump to the bunker had a huge mockery wave on social media and it seems to affect the decision of moving towards a church that was damaged from the riots on Monday. Trump’s presence in front of the church happened after the police used rubber bullets and tear gas bombs to break up the demonstrations so that Trump appears holding the Bible saying, “I swear that America will return much stronger than before.”
Trump’s short media statement sparked another irony wave, where New York state governor replied, “Here, we read the Bible, not only raise it and take photos with it.”
It is also said that since Trump became the president, the racist rhetoric escalated throughout his country, which seems to be intended from his side to rally conservatives. Protests with ethnic backgrounds are considered a reoccurring matter along with American history, where others see that the current demonstrations are more violent.
