Three ISIS members arrested while infiltrating into Iraq
Iraqi Ministry of Defense declared Monday three ISIS members while they were infiltrating from Syria into Iraq.
The ministry security media cell said a field intelligence team of the national security system were lying in ambush on the borders with Syria and arrested three members of the terrorist ISIS organization west Nineveh.
Iraqi Ministry of Defense declared that one of the detainees was Syrian and the members had been planning to setnew armed groups to carry out terrorist operations in Iraq. The investigations disclosed that the members had participated in the battles against the Iraqi army.
The terrorist ISIS organization has been active basically in Syria and Iraq. As many areas went out of the control of the Syrian state throughout the war years, ISIS expanded larger due to facilitations and support given secretly and publicly by many countries, especially Turkey which threw its borders open for terrorists to enter Syria since the outbreak of the war.
Although ISIS has been eradicated and its “State” has come to an end in both Syria and Iraq, certain cells have been still present to carry out terrorist operations every now and then.
