Turkish delegation visits Moscow today to discuss the Syrian and Libyan dossiers

Tuesday Moscow receives a Turkish official delegation spearheaded by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sedat Onal, to discuss both Syrian and Libyan dossiers with Russian officials, according to the spokesman of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow.

SDC well-informed sources said Onal will meet officials of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The sources said discussions will focus on the Syrian and Libyan dossiers. Both parties will discuss together the latest developments in Idlib, which is the region to carry out the joint agreements in addition to the latest updates of the situation in the Jazeera region. In addition, the file of the political track and meetings of the constitutional committee will be on the table as well.

Regarding the Libyan file, both parties when discussed ways to settle the seas fire and continue talks between the warring Libyan parties in order to reach a final solution that puts an end to the crisis of division since 2014.

Onal’s visit coincides with the start of the evacuation of the Turkish observational points in the de-escalation zone as Turkish military columns withdrew from the 9th observational point in Morek west Hama that is besieged by the Syrian Army as a introduction to evacuate all Turkish observational points that are besieged in the areas of the de-escalation zone.

In an earlier meeting between military Russian and Turkish officials in Ankara, the Russian side called to reduce the number of Turkish forces in Idlib but the Turkish forces proceeded entering more military columns through Kafr Lusin Crossing but recently decided to withdraw its forces from the beseiged points in agreement with the Russian side.
