Turkish bombings inflicts 13 injuries among the people of “Tal Tamr”.
On Sunday, the Turkish army committed a new crime against the people of the town of “Tal Tamr” in the northwestern countryside of Al-Hasakah, by deliberately targeting the town intensively, in conjunction with the Assyrian Christian holidays celebrations, which led to civilian casualties.
Sources of the Syrian Documentation Center reported that the Turkish bombing resulted in the wounding of 13 civilians, in addition to significant material damage to 4 houses in the town.
The sources pointed out that the Turkish attacks coincided with the date of the “Easter feast” mass that the Assyrian Christian community holds in the “Jerusalem Church” in the center of the town, so that the celebration will be held with the sounds of bells mixed with the sounds of bullets.
The sources added that as a result of these attacks, which were followed by many battles that broke out on the axis of the town, the celebration atmosphere was limited to performing religious hymns, while the carnivals known to be one of the most important aspects of this eid celebrations was absent from the town’s streets.
It’s noteworthy that “Tal Tamr” and the surrounding villages have witnessed in recent days an escalation of the Turkish attacks against them, through continuous bombings against the area by the Turkish artillery, especially towards the village of “Dardara” and “Station Al-Mabaqer” in the town’s northern countryside.
