Sources of the Syrian Documentation Center reported that on Wednesday, the SDF handed over 7 children from the families of ISIS to the French delegation that visited its areas of control in Qamishli, headed by the former French ambassador to Syria “Eric Chevalier”.

The sources pointed out that the 7 children were of French nationality, and came with their families who joined ISIS in Syria during the previous years.

On Tuesday evening, a French delegation arrived in the areas controlled by the “SDF” in northeastern Syria, and met with several officials from the SDF, as part of what was described as discussions about the Turkish attacks on the countryside of Raqqa and Al-Hasakah.

According to what was reported by the SDF media outlets, the 2 sides touched on the tense security situation and the series of killings in Al-Hol camp, as well as the issue of SDF’s participation in the political process and the constitutional committee.

During the talks, “Eric Chevalier” stated that his country joined the talks that are taking place with the European institute for peace regarding the work on the Al-Hol camp and the return of children and women.

Adding at the same time that France will play a positive role in supporting the area with several files, including the Kurdish dialogue.
