Sources of the Syrian Documentation Center reported that Al-Nusra’s militants had prevented the people from leaving their areas of control in Idlib through the humanitarian corridor that the Syrian government had opened in Saraqib.

The sources stated that Al-Nusra’s militants had spread among civilians that they’re prevented from leaving towards the areas controlled by the Syrian government through the corridor, as they spread their threats among civilians to anyone trying to leave the area.

Today Idlib officially opened the Tarnaba crossing in the Saraqib area, in cooperation with the Syrian army units, and the relief teams from the Red Crescent, in order to help those who wants to leave the areas controlled by Al-Nusra and the allied factions in Idlib towards areas under the control of the Syrian army.

The governor of Idlib “Muhammad Ntouf” confirmed yesterday that full medical teams, a mobile clinic and an ambulance have been equipped to receive the civilians who’re leaving the areas under the control of Al-Nusra, in addition to providing a temporary accommodation center for civilians in the “Al-Sabeel” neighborhood in Hama, adding that all services will be provided to ensure the return of the people to their cities and villages, which were liberated by the Syrian army from the control of the terrorist organizations.

Al-Nusra prevents civilians in the areas under its control from going out towards the areas under the control of the Syrian state and uses them as human shields in its battles.

As it also continues to loot their properties, impose royalties on them, and launch campaigns of arrests against anyone who opposes its policies in the area.
